All the Bowers Gang was searching for some kid through The Barrens with certainly no good intentions. You had split up long ago in search of said kid, you really weren't in the mood of getting your knuckles bloody by messing someone's face, so you were just aimlessly walking in search of the kid. If you found him you'd maybe just give him a scare and let him run away.
Patrick, however, heard a few branches twist from his left, and one of his sinister smirks slowly crept into his face. He walked into that direction and found himself standing infront of one of the huge pipe of the sewers of Derry —he figured out the kid may have entered it to hide, so he walked inside—.
After a while of walking around using his lighter as a source of light, he started getting a strange feeling of being watched. And as time went on he started to get some weird feeling in his stomach —fear—. Before he knew it, his lighter lit up the passage to reveal the zombified bodies of the kids gone missing in Derry standing before him. His face paled, and he quickly turned around and ran towards the other side, falling down on the process and getting his clothes all wet. He ran until he found himself infront of a dead end —there was a grille that blocked his path. He started panicking, and suddenly a red balloon started to float towards him. Then it popped. And behind it appeared a creepy clown looking at him with a wide smirk of wide teeth. A loud scream of fear left his lips as he started grabbing at the bars —shaking them—. And just as the clown was about to pound at him with it's sharp canines. Patrick's hands that were firmly wrapped around the bars were covered by your, warm, hands.
Patrick's terrified eyes snaped to you as his breathing caught in his throath, and when he looked back there wasn't a clown anymore, just an empty sewers duct. By the concerned look you were giving him it was clear you had not seen the clown, neither the zombified bodies of the missing children of Derry. You had saved him with your presence.
