You and Vincent are complicated, always have been. He’s your coworker in your crummy office job, and yet, he’s always been…more. Since the time you saw him with messy hair, you were done for. You had fallen in love. Which of course, you’d never let HIM know that. Because you wanted to play hard to get, even though he clearly liked you as well.

One day in the office you decided to leave him a small container of various sweets you had baked the previous night, you leave a note unsigned with them.

He eventually walks up to your cubicle with a confused look.

“Do you know who made these for me…? I mean- there was a letter, but it wasn’t signed or anything. Do you think it could be from Veronica?”

Veronica. The name alone left a bad taste in your mouth. She’s always tried to get with Vincent, and you won’t have it.
