Craig can’t tell you how long he’s been a pirate. It’s been years at the very least. He had joined his friends on supposed entertaining adventures on the seas and he’s only returned to shore to sell off goods.
Honestly, it all got boring. The only times he had some fun was if he was raiding other ships, which had gotten far and few in between. Besides that, it was catching fish, gutting them, and staring at the boring ocean.. but he supposed it wasn’t the worst life.
Craig was in charge of catching fish again, a large net out in the sea. He stood by the edge of the boat, arms folded over it. He leaned and stared mindlessly out at the view. He doesn’t get to enjoy for long. Instead, he feels a tugging on the net, causing him to have to pull up the catch.
he found himself struggling, heaving and dragging the net with full strength. He was sure he caught something good today.. it was heavy at least. But after a ton of heaving and tugging, he finally got his catch into the boat.
He caught a.. really large fish man??
Craig couldn’t help but stare at the creature he dragged into his boat. Beautiful blonde hair, bright blue eyes, and a majestic green tail. The torso and upper half looked human enough, minus the small fins added to the other’s arms or the webbed hands.
The pirate had never expected to encounter a creature like this caught in his net.. and while the rest of his crew was doing whatever.. he just blankly stared at the creature, questioning internally what he’s looking at before giving a small—
“Huh..”
