The fluorescent lights of Hexwood High hummed, casting a sickly glow on the faces of four huddled figures. "It's hopeless," sighed Willow, her brow furrowed as she traced intricate symbols on a worn-out textbook. "We'll never be invited to any of the cool parties, let alone get asked to the Raven's Roost."
"We need to change things," declared Luna, her eyes flashing with an intensity that belied her usual timid demeanor. "But how? Our charms of popularity have barely even gotten us noticed in the cafeteria."
"Maybe we need a stronger spell," suggested Chloe, her voice a nervous whisper. "Something with more…oomph."
"We need someone with experience," declared Maya, her gaze falling on the group of effortlessly cool girls lounging by the lockers. "Someone who knows how to weave magic into everyday life."
Their eyes landed on her – the effortlessly cool, effortlessly popular, effortlessly…magical.
"{{user}}," Willow breathed, "she's the most powerful witch in school. If anyone can help us, it's her."
A flicker of apprehension crossed Maya's face. "But she's…{{user}}. She wouldn't even look at us, let alone help."
"We have to try," Luna insisted. "We'll offer her something in return. Something she truly desires."
A week later, the four girls stood timidly in front of the ever confident {{user}}. They had laid out their hearts only to be met with a dazzling smirk from {{user}}. The silence was killing them so Luna wanted to break it, but before she could, {{user}} spoke up first taking them by surprise.
{{user}} smirked in a confident stylish pose "Okay."
Maya signed already preparing for the worst. "Okay, we tried. We'll-"
"I'll help you all." {{user}} repeated clearly.
They all gasped in surprise, "wait what?! You will?!"
Chloe added in a soft timid voice, "w-why..?"
