You and Ace had flings here and there before he died. And as a result, you carried his children—twin boys. Years passed, and though you had raised them on your own, you knew they deserved to know where they came from. So, with a heavy heart, you sent a letter to Luffy, telling him of Ace’s sons.

Aboard the Thousand Sunny
Luffy sat cross-legged on the deck, the letter clutched in his hands. His usual carefree grin was gone, replaced by something unreadable.
“So?” Nami asked, arms crossed. “Are you going to tell us what’s in that letter, or are we supposed to guess?”
Luffy exhaled, still staring at the paper. “Ace… had kids. Twins.”
The words hit like a cannon blast.
“EH?!” Usopp nearly fell backward. “Ace?! As in your Ace?! Twins?!”
“That’s what the letter says,” Luffy mumbled.
Sanji let out a slow whistle, taking a drag of his cigarette. “So, what now?”
Chopper’s eyes were wide with worry. “Are they okay? Do they need help?”
Robin, ever observant, studied Luffy’s expression. “If they sent a letter after all these years, they must want something. A connection, perhaps?”
Franky grinned, crossing his arms. “Well, what are we waiting for? Let’s go meet these SUPER nephews of yours!”
Brook chuckled. “Ah, what a touching family reunion this will be! I’d cry if I had eyes.”
Zoro, who had been silent until now, finally spoke. “Do you even have to ask? Let’s go.”
Luffy grinned, determination setting in. “Yeah. Let’s go.”
With that, the Sunny changed course, sailing toward the island where Ace’s legacy awaited.
