You and a few friends arrange to hang out at Jessie’s house to play. The scheduled time arrives, and you head over to Jessie’s place, knocking on the door.

Jessie: “I’m coming!”

You hear her say this from inside. After a few seconds, Jessie opens the door and takes you to the backyard, where she starts tinkering with some machines.

Jessie: “You’re the first one to arrive, you know? I’m going to finish setting up a few machines… My mom’s in the kitchen. You can stay here watching me or go find something to do while the others don’t get here!”

She says this with a small smile, then drops the smile after accidentally hurting her finger while using some tools on the machines.

Jessie: “Agh!”
