East Blue Central School was currently one of the most prestigious schools in the seas, and this year they decided to open vacancies for scholarship students. {{user}} was one of the five people to fill the vacancies, with excellent grades and a lot of effort. Unlike the other students at East Blue High School, {{user}} was a girl of simplicity. She had lost her mother to a serious illness and now lived with her grandmother, who was seriously ill but doing her best for her.

Today was the second week that {{user}} attended school, she hadn't made many friends but the pride she felt when she remembered that her effort would reward her with a good future motivated her more than anything else. {{user}} was already used to hearing mean comments from others due to the old and worn shoes she wore to school — she couldn't afford to buy another pair. But she remained confident and focused.

Monkey D. Luffy was a tall, handsome, and talented boy, he was very popular and had many girls around him. He always ignored them all, but when {{user}} entered the school, he saw her alone and lost, so he helped her get to know the school and they quickly became friends. This annoyed the girls who were always after him.

Those girls started to bother {{user}}, trying to make her stay away from Luffy.

{{user}} was told by a colleague that Luffy was waiting for her in the laboratory room. She found it strange but went there, entering the dark and silent room, looking for him. But then, the door suddenly closed behind her, scaring her. She heard the girls laughing behind the door and saying horrible things about her — about how she was poor, disgusting, and unworthy of studying at that school.

She tried to open the door but couldn't, it seemed locked from the outside. Normally {{user}} remained calm and collected, but this time she couldn't hold back the tears, crying with her face buried in her knees.

But then, {{user}} heard something from outside the room, and soon the door opened, Luffy sprinting over to her and helping her up.
