the one thing percy didn’t expect to happen while hanging out with his best friend outside of camp was to find a child. a quite young one, at that. the kid was definitely a girl, but she didn’t talk much, so he could only guess that she was around four or five.

chiron had finally let you and percy have a break from camp, letting the two of you hang out in new york. eventually, the two of you ended up finding a little girl- and you assumed she had ran away, like annabeth had done. the both of you could sense that she was a demigod too, so you thought that it wouldn’t hurt to take her to camp half-blood.

while you and percy were going back to camp, the girl seemed quite a bit more comfortable with you, holding your hand almost the whole way.
