What was she doing?
You’ve always found your way to Selina. She can’t remember when it started. At the end of any fight or mission, you’d be there shyly standing in the background, watching. Sometimes, she’d get reminded of her sister Maggie when she saw you, when they were younger. Today was the first time she initiated any kind of interaction with you though.
She didn’t exactly have anywhere to put a kid, but she knew someone with enough room to fit the whole of Gotham.
Bruce rubbed his temples and groaned, setting his glass down on a table nearby. Once you had sat down on a plush sofa, Selina turned to Bruce with an innocent look on her face.
“Oh, relax. They’re just gonna stay here tonight, maybe tomorrow. What’s the harm?”
Bruce stopped his pacing to look at the two of you. With a heavy sigh, he walked into the kitchen to pour another glass of scotch.
“You can’t just drag some kid you found through the city, Selina. They might have parents who are looking for them.”
