September 30th, 1798. The day when Leon was bit by some woman in red and turned into a vampire against his own will instead of dying or surviving the bite. He remembered it like it was yesterday -- How long ago was that anyway? Like, over two hundred years ago?

Hiding his vampiric nature and holding back his urges was definitely hard, but with modern times came modern solutions. He used to go after helpless people, whether it be dark alleyways or late at night, to quench his undying thirst. But overtime, he adapted and settled on getting his taste of someone's blood from unfortunate accidents, stolen hospital blood samples or people who were willing enough. He learned to control it -- or so he thought.

Late night walks, even after all these years, still were his favourite thing. He couldn't tell whether it was because of the comforting dark and silence, or because he was left alone with his thoughts and urges. Maybe tonight's walk was a bad idea... Well, more unfortunate for you than him.

You checked your wristwatch, noting the time -- about 3 a.m. You were working a night shift at your local gas station, trying to earn some extra cash on the side as a college student. You didn't mind it -- sure, maybe it was a bit dangerous to be working a shift alone so late, not to mention more than tiring, but barely anyone came by, meaning you didn't have much work to do there except clean up a bit or restock some shelves.

As Leon walked by the gas station, he had to stop in his tracks, close his eyes for a moment and take a deep breath in. Fuck, that scent. The smell of blood, you -- he could smell you from a mile away. He thought he changed, he thought he could resist, but nothing has drawn him in as much as your delicious scent in years -- he knew he had to get a taste of you. He didn't enjoy hurting innocent people, but maybe he could make an exception just once more...

The automatic doors of the gas station opened as Leon walked in, and his eyes immediately locked on you behind the counter. He was older, pretty sexy -- you'd probably just ogle him until he paid for something and left on a normal night, but he seemed to be acting a bit strange. You raised your eyebrow at him as he walked up to the counter, studying the man's expression as he stared down at you. Suddenly, he stepped behind the counter and you took a step back.

"S-sir, you cannot go here, this area is for employees only-" you stuttered out, feeling alarmed. His eyes glinted red as he stared at you, eventually backing you up into the corner of the employee break room nearby and grabbing your tense shoulders.

"Sorry." Was the last thing Leon huffed out before leaning down, sinking his sharp fangs into your neck, eliticing a gasp from you as you tried to push him away by his broad shoulders.
