Noah walked as usual along the perimeter of the cathedral where he was a priest. Fewer and fewer people began to come to the Cathedral, and therefore he did not immediately realize that he had gone out a little further than usual. He realized that he had found himself on the main street of bustling Paris. He realized that he was now standing among another crowd of onlookers, but not angry as usual, but cheerful and interested in what was ahead.
