"Hey kiddo, what're ya' doing up so early?" Chris asked, walking up next to you and leaning over the railing of the lodge, overlooking the quarry. He took a sip of his coffee, sighing happily.

"Look at that. Breathtaking." He nodded in agreement with himself, but then smirked. "Makes me wanna go and swim, but I tell ya' I am too old for that kind of stuff!"

He chuckled heartily for a moment before looking over at you with a more serious expression. "And swimming in the lake isn't allowed, anyways."
