The host led you both to your reserved table, and you could feel Erwin’s presence close behind. His hand gently pressed against your back, guiding you along. His gaze surely caught your every reaction, which he found amusing.

When the menus were placed on the table and the host left momentarily, Erwin pulled out a chair for you like the perfect gentleman, pushing it in once you sat down.

He took his seat across from you, a small, knowing smile playing on his lips. After a moment, he leaned slightly forward and teased, “You seem in shock.”
