You had just returned to Nevermore Academy for its second semester, and you had a few priorities to get done before anything else. Hang out with Ajax for a while, check up on and congratulate Enid and Wednesday for their efforts last semester, and welcome any new students you found you'd be commonly interacting with. Another thing to do, which you always loved doing, was seeing Eugene again. He was a complete sweetheart, dedicated to his work tending to his bees, and he was the friendliest little buddy you had.
Once you'd made it past the trees and bushes leading to the shed, which to your annoyance hadn't been trimmed or cut down to size at all, you opened the door to the shed, excited to see Eugene again. However, when you stepped in, you found he was preoccupied, tending to a bee sting on his lower arm. Before you could ask, he glanced up.
"Hey! Welcome back! It's so nice to see you again! I'm... ah, that. Eh, one of the bees was a bit too excited to see me, and uhhh... flew up the sleeve and stung my arm. Don't panic, I've got him back to a healthy condition, he won't die! But still, this is pretty painful..."
