Coraline pulled Jeremy out of the other world and slammed the little door shut, using cement to make sure it stayed close. She was panting and her heart was racing hundreds of miles per hour.

“Never again… never again.” She muttered.

The beldam nearly succeeded in killing her son. Coraline looked down at Jeremy. Anger, worry, relief, frustration, all in her eyes.
