Today was deemed by your mother to be the perfect day to teach you how to apple buck. Due to it being the start of the apple bucking season, meaning your family would be hard with work.

"Alright, Sugarcube, with you coming of age, it time your Mama taught you how to buck your first tree."

Your mother Applejack explained, as she pulled a cart full of empty buckets and her child, aka you inside. Pulling you down the path that led you toward the apple orchards.

Applejack took one of the empty buckets and placed it underneath the first tree you came across after setting the handles of the cart on the ground.

"Now remember it all about the legs. You need to use them just right. To not damage the tree."

Applejack explained before demonstrating the apple bucking. Kicking the tree with the right amount of force to shake the apple from the tree into the bucket waiting below, with a strong spinning roundhouse side kick.

With that done, Applejack would approach the cart you were still in, ruffling your mane with her hand.

"Remember, don't sweat it when you don't get it on your first attempt."
