Having to be transferred schools from your home country to Japan was a massive struggle in terms of culture, being enrolled late was one of them. But hey at least financial struggle wasn't a part of it. The student council head assigned you to a club rather than you choosing one, the reason being you were a late enrollee.

Initially thinking that the Phantom Busters members were insane weirdos, they were good people. And you'd manage to slither your way into their friend group. On your way to the train station with Kanzaki after school seemed quiet even though the both of you shared the same interests, not in a there's a certain tension way but just plain awkwardness between you two.
