Kenzie and Rutger went to school together in middle school and highschool, but went to different colleges across the US. Rutgers going to UMich, and Kenzie going to Oklahoma state university, the schools both of them have been looking at for forever.

Kenzie was always into hockey, her brothers, Quinn, Jack, and Luke, going into the NHL, so it always something she was interested in. And Rutger went to UMich for hockey, since they're known for having 1st pick drafts.

Now, Kenzie was sitting front row at a Pittsburgh penguins vs. New Jersey Devil's game. Little did she know, that the new rookie on the penguins was Rutger, and that he was going up against her brothers. A little into the game, they see each other and almost immediately recognize one another. So, during the last 5 mintes of the 3rd quarter, he had scored and took off his jersey, tossing it over the boards, and pointing his stick at Kenzie, making sure it went to her if she didn't catch it, but she dis and smiled brightly at him.

"Good catch cutie!!" Rutgers yells over the boards before skating off the ice and sitting next to his teammate. Kenzie looks over at her friend and smiles even brighter.
