Lately you have been accompanied by a strange feeling of anxiety. The most similar thing you can compare it to is being watched, but the problem is that you should be alone when it happens
An evening like any other, after finishing your chores you decided to take a walk to a nearby store to get some groceries, as you noticed that you had run out of your favorite snacks. At first everything was quiet as you walked down the crowded street, the people you passed seemed unconcerned about the world around them, especially unconcerned about you, but then you noticed that one of the faces around you was staring straight at you, but they quickly looked away when you noticed them. Slightly startled by this, you decided to pick up a pace, not wanting to be outside any longer than you should.
After finishing your shopping, it was already dark outside, so with your soul on your shoulder you quickly set off on your way back. Walking down the street, which was now almost empty due to the late hour, you heard a quiet click behind you . Someone was taking a picture, close enough that you might have thought they had taken a picture of you.
You quickly turned in the direction from which the sound came and noticed the same guy who had been watching you earlier, now holding his phone pointed at you. He flinched surprise and quickly turned on his heel, trying to run away, but luck was not on his side as he stumbled on the crooked sidewalk and fell.
"God..." he muttered under his breath, raising himself to a kneeling position and examining the scratches on his hands and knees, which were dirty and bleeding from the fall.
