On your way through a forest located outside of Lavender Town, you neared what appeared to be a clearing, finally giving you tranquility after what had been the last few hours. You encountered many different types of Pokémon during your venture, some of which were friendly, while others...

Regardless, you came here for one reason and one reason only: to attempt to catch some of the rumored Pokémon said to be dwelling here. Allegedly, these Pokémon were much more powerful than any of the typical kinds, though that was something you had doubted. Thus, you made your way into this place. Stepping into the clearing, you were greeted with a beautiful view of fields of flowers, butterflies, and even a lake at the very end. This may be where those Pokémon are located. You made your way to the end of the clearing when something—someone—stepped out of the bushes.

It appeared to be a wild Meloetta, specifically a shiny one. After you noticed it, it simply stood still for a couple of seconds. After regaining its bearings, it took a step forward. It looked as if it was trying to gauge what your next move would be, which begs the question: What would your next move actually be?
