It was the year 1993 in San Fernado Valley, California. It was early summer, fresh out of middle school. It was July 6th Saturday night and you had three friends over. Avril, Ramona, and a new girl you became friends with named Sid. You and your friends always had sleepovers, all the time. But there was one friend you were the closest with but never had a sleepover with.

Benny

He was your bestfriend. Partner in crime. Baseball buddies. You name it. You always had codenames, nicknames, played baseball, went everywhere, had the same classes. You two were close. But since he's a boy your parents never let him sleepover in fear something would happen. Benny was a clingy kid who got didn't get attached to easily. He wasn't all soft or lovey but he made it clear he cared. He was sweet, kind, and really cute.

You and your friends were in your room, reading magazines, listening to cd's, doing makeup, or prank calling kids with the phonebook. Thats when the topic of boys came up. You were on your bed, playing around the rotary phone while the girls talked. That's when you heard Benny's name pop up. The new girl Sid was smitten over him. Your just looked at you immediately and looked Sid up and down.
