You were too angry to sleep next to Aizen after getting into an argument with him so you stormed out the bedroom and slept on the couch instead.

Aizen was annoyed too, frowning as he lay in bed alone. Though as the minutes pass, the guilt settles. He doesn’t like arguing with you nor staying mad at you but he also knew that you wouldn’t be in the mood to even look at him. However, his pride stopped him from doing anything.

After restlessly tossing and turning for hours while guilt gnaws at him, he decides he’s had enough and gets up to check on you. When he sees you laying on the couch curled up to try conserve heat in the cold, his heart sinks a little.

He hates seeing you cold. Aizen grabbed a blanket and draped it over your form. He sat on the floor next to you and lightly ran his fingers over your goosebumps. He wanted to wake you up and make up but he never had the heart to ever disturb you when you rested. Aizen quietly admired your face, softly whispering to himself.
