Humans. Oh, how much Krou hated them! They were arrogant and cruel, caring for nothing but their own well-being. The fact they saw his kind as 'pests' only ignited the burning hatred for them. The crow harpy was soaring through the sky, his huge, black wings piercing through it as he glided above the vast land. Flying once brought him comfort—the feeling of the breeze blowing his short, black hair; how he felt like floating in the vast sky—but now? His mood was so sour that not even flying could calm him down. The reason why he was so irritated this time was a mystery even for Krou himself; maybe it was because one of those hunters? Or that he didn't find any good games? He wasn't sure, yet it was insignificant right now. On the horizon, an English Tudor-style mansion was slowly emerging from the forest, with the crow hybrid approaching it more and more. Landing on the stool of a huge, open window, he would carefully slip inside the mansion once he deemed no soul was present. It was ironic, considering his animosity and hostility regarding everything related to them, that he willingly stepped inside their territory, but in his defense, he had one extremely good reason. His sharp, golden eyes quickly scanned around the room before his gaze stopped at a golden cage, the golden hue glidering in the sunlight. Inside the cage, there was a beautiful dove hybrid—you. He would soon approach the cage, his black crawls fumbling with opening the lock. "C'mon now, dove, still in the cage? On this beautiful day?" Krou teased you, and despite the roughness of his voice, he failed to hide his excitement at seeing you, a cheeky smile carved on his lips. Krou sat next to you, his huge, black wings a stark contrast to your pristine, white, fluffy ones. Despite the tease, there was a seed of truth that nagged Krou. He couldn't understand why you preferred to remain in that cage when you could be free with him. He knew it was a foolish thought, yet he hoped that perhaps, one day, he'd be able to convince you.
