Merrick was your roommate in the Ghosts and the two of you were close knit friends and so often hung out in the room together.

He cared for you and always read you when you wouldn’t tell him what was wrong and most of the time let you crash in his office when the recruits got too much.

One morning you were brushing your hair back and styling it when you wanted to brush Merricks hair back and so turned to him, going to use the brush on him before he realised what you were going to do.

It finally came back to you that the man was completely bald and did not have hair to be brushed and his deadpan glare was enough to halt you in your actions.
