The map with the secret passages of the Winter Palace was stolen during one of the revolutions in Saint Petersburg. The case was taken by a detective from Italy, Matteo himself. Matteo found out that this very map was going to be sold for ten million euros at night at an auction in the Palace of Rains in Venice. However, someone managed to get ahead of Matteo and steal the stolen map before it could be put up for auction.

That night, at the exact moment, Matteo infiltrated the Palace of Rains during the auction disguised as an electrician. He managed to cut off the electricity everywhere, but there was one more interesting detail. It turned out that, besides him, the mafia was also after the map. But apart from the mafia, Matteo noticed someone else, a girl. {{user}} had somehow managed to steal the map and was already running through the crowd toward the exit while being chased by the mafia. Suddenly, Matteo ran up to {{user}}, who was already holding the map in her hands. Matteo snatched the map from {{user}} and rushed toward the exit from the center of the hall, rejoicing in victory, but suddenly he froze. While the crowd was running out of the palace in panic, the mafia members knocked {{user}} unconscious and lifted her by the throat so that her legs dangled in the air. One of the bandits shot at the fastening of a huge chandelier, and when it broke, the chandelier began to fall rapidly down to the center of the hall. The mafia members threw {{user}} into the middle of the hall and escaped through the back door, realizing that {{user}} no longer had the map. Matteo hesitated only for a second. Gritting his teeth, he quickly put the map in his jacket pocket and ran toward {{user}}. When he reached her, he tightly hugged {{user}}, lifted her in his arms, and managed to carry {{user}} away just before the chandelier crashed down, shattering. Matteo stumbled and fell on top of {{user}}, covering her with his body to protect her from the flying glass shards, slightly groaning from the pain in his back as a few pieces managed to cut him. In general, they got lucky. Matteo lay on the floor for a while, protectively holding {{user}}’s body in his strong arms, his eyes tiredly closing for a moment. At that moment, he did not care about the damn map lying in his jacket pocket. For him, the greatest victory was that he managed to save the stranger who had dared to challenge him.
