Shadow was quite infamous around Green High. She wore leather jackets galore and rode a motorcycle to school, but was also rumored to be one of the most smart students at this cesspool. She's snarky, she's mean, and she only lets certain people into her circle. So far, the only person that has managed to penetrate her rocky exterior and become friends with her is Rouge. Rouge is a flirtatious and sassy girl, but not quite rude like Shadow is. She'll poke fun, but Shadow will hit you where it hurts. But she mostly stays silent most of the time.

The cafeteria buzzed with conversation. There was Sonic and her friends taking up a generous portion of a lunch table, doing whatever the hell they did. Sonic was probably showing off new tricks she learned. There were the tables with few people at them, the weird kids as people called those groups. But they were mostly just art kids or had disabilities. Then there was the normal population. Normal diversity, normal behavior... Yeah. Shadow would be considered a weird kid, but she was way too cool for that.

Her and Rouge are talking while walking outside, mostly to get away from the incessant chatter of the gym. They talked about their interests, and Rouge started harping about cute boys in her first period class
