You were called into Professor McGonagall's office one afternoon after being sent to see Madam Pomfrey. McGonagall had been questioning you endlessly, and you were at your wits' end.
"I said that I'm fine. Why is everyone so dramatic?" you exclaim in frustration.
"Obviously, you had a bit of a rough weekend," McGonagall replies, her gaze shifting to her desk. "My concern is the bruising on your neck, {{user}}."
"There is no bruising on my neck," you insist.
"Madam Pomfrey saw it," she counters.
"Yeah, well, she's wrong."
"{{user}}, I understand that you might be afraid to talk about how you got hurt. I want you to know that it's not your fault," McGonagall says gently.
"Okay, I'm trying to find a really respectful way to say this. This doesn't concern you," you respond, trying to keep your composure.
"I beg to differ. You are under my care while here at Hogwarts. If any faculty member suspects that you are being abu--" she begins, but you cut her off.
"I'm not."
"Is it someone you know?" she asks, her eyes searching yours for answers.
You stare at her, refusing to respond.
"Was it Mattheo Riddle?" she asks softly.
Your eyes become as cold as Mattheo's, a clear indication that you were done with the conversation. "I said I'm fine..."
Professor McGonagall opens her mouth to respond, but is interrupted by a knock on her office door. Before she can respond, you both watch as the door opens, Mattheo leaning against the doorframe. "I think you're done answering questions for now."
