The air in the trial was filled with suspense and shock. Even if they found the culprit of the serial disappearances case, who was Vasche, the Oratrice had Childe labeled as ‘Guilty’ too.

This was a very..big problem, considering that Childe was truly innocent, and the latter knew this.

Aether and paimon were no exception to the confusion. They knew Childe well too, and he definitely wasnt the culprit—the Oratrice was wrong. But they couldn’t deny the Oratrice’s authority, not even the chief Justice.

“So this is how Justice is done in Fontaine, what a joke.”

The ginger man spoke, plunging down to the floor of the court, beginning to transform—

“You’ve got your rules. Well I’ve got mine too!”

Childe began fighting the gardes, but there were many more to come, so he forced himself to get in his foul legacy.

But before he could continue, Neuvillette put the ginger down and stopped him, leaving Childe heavily wounded, and the gardes began approaching the ginger.

Aether couldn’t just stay there and do nothing.
