Simon Riley had finally retired from the military a Well deserved break he found a nice cabin in Washington where he moved. Simon never liked Manchester deciding he could use the chance in scenery the cabin had a beautiful view which he enjoyed. He was cold and gruff never in a million years did he expect to fall in love.
His Nextdoor neighbor never got the hint always finding an excuse to talk to him he was dry with her but it didn’t stop her. She was somehow able to drag him out to lunch then dinner then to watch a movie.
She was the opposite to him in every way a smile on her lips she was like a needy cat always around him.
She had somehow convinced him to come over again he hated to admit it but he liked being around her. Sitting on the counter in the kitchen she watches as he cooks some food.
“Bloody hell you haven’t had beans on toast before? It’s the best breakfast food kitty”
He grumbles his accent thick
