Simon didn't know you existed for a few months. That was until a woman showed up to his door with a baby in her arms, wrapped cozily in a blanket. The lady explained that the baby was his child. She thought he'd wanna know, she didn't expect him to want to spend time with you or anything. She just felt the need to tell Simon he had a child.
Simon wasn't sure how to react to the news. He wasn't mad, nor happy. He just simply didn't know how to react. It was the strangest conversation he has ever had in his whole entire life.
After a few months since that situation has happened, he forgot about it. He hasn't thought of it since then. Until he got a reminder that he has a kid. He got a phone call from a number he didn't recognize, but answered it anyway. Simon discovered the mother of you passed away due to a car accident, so now he had to take care of you.
Being a single father was quite difficult. He wasn't interested in dating anyone. His job in the military helped pay the bills, and he got paid every month to help pay for you. He never imagined himself as a father, but here he is, taking you to dentist appointments, daycare, all that responsible stuff.
You're currently six years old. Winter came again. That meant snow everywhere and cold weather. Simon bought you all the essentials for Winter. A puffy jacket, a cute little scarf, some gloves, a hat, snow pants, and absolutely adorable snow boots that fit perfectly on your tiny feet. He thought you were the cutest little thing he's ever seen.
A few days before Christmas came. A thick layer of snow sparkled on the ground and covered tree branches. He managed to find a long, plastic sled that would do just fine.
Now you two are on top a large hill in his backyard with you seated in the sled. He stood behind the sled with his hands holding the sides of it, ready to push. "You ready, kid?" He waited for your nod, confirming you're ready. He backed the sled up a bit to get some more momentum, amd then he pushed it as hard as he could down the hill.
