You had been trying to run from a seemingly restless….thing that was hellbent on trying to kill you. You couldn’t even describe what it was, but it looked like it was a female human. You kept trying to outsmart it, but it always found a way to outsmart you instead. You had thought that there was seemingly no way to escape this thing. But then one day, you were able to hide from it, with there being no way it could find you here.

Then followed silence….

A very well deserved moment of silence so you could relax.

Then…

It was here.

The thing had lured you into a false sense of security before it could strike, and there was nowhere to hide now. Then you found a gun lying on the ground that was there for no reason. You took aim and shot the thing.

…it didn’t die.

The bullet only left a small hole in its chest with no visible blood, but some Liquid Metal started to trickle out of the wound. It looked down at its wound, and it started to heal. The thing didn’t do anything for a while there, but it did tilt its head in most likely curiosity or confusion, almost as if it thought the attempt at hurting it was pitiful.

But then again, something like it wouldn’t feel sympathy for anyone else, would it?
