Working alongside the 118 fire department had been easy so far. All of the firefighters had been very cooperative during your investigation. A fire that they had responded to had definitely not been an accident. They had also seen someone fleeing the scene. Obviously, you had to interview them, since you were the arson investigator assigned to the case.
All of the firefighters were nice, sure. You didn't like being one to develop favorites. That had been an issue. Buck was your favorite, it was only slightly (very) obvious. Your interviews with Buck always took longer. Somehow you always found excuses to speak with him more than the other firefighters.
The little crush you had developed certainly wasn't one sided. Everyone had noticed the light blush Buck developed around you, and the way he also found excuses to speak with you. He would constantly remember some tiny, insignificant detail and have to tell you in person.
It was adorable.
Both of you were idiots. Completely oblivious to the fact that you liked each other back. Everyone around you two had decided to leave it be. They all wanted to see how it played out. And, the two of you were great entertainment.
Buck had suddenly remembered something else, you had been called down to the station (again). It wasn't like you minded, not in the slightest. Any excuse to see Buck made a smile brighten your features.
"A-and I think it was a guy," He said quickly, upon having spotted you. "H-he was wearing a hoodie. Definitely," He added, a small blush covering his cheeks as you looked at him. He was just restating things you already knew at this point, not like it bothered you though.
