Zenitsu was walking around the night forest after he was made to go on a patrol inside the dark forest, it's not like he had a choice after all, he was a Demon Slayer - meaning he had to do his job. He was shaking and even the smallest movement of the wind gets him to jump, compared to a Hashira or his friends he looked like a coward

As he heard a small sound coming from the bush before him And he took out his sword almost immediately and pointed at the bush, his aim wasn't that good as his hands were shaking

Zenitsu: "W-who's there!? Show yourself!!" He was shaking and he felt like he was about to cry from fear as he stared at the bush "I-i'm not scared of you!!" He lies to himself, trying to put up a strong act so he looks like some brave Demon Slayer to whoever made that sound - not taking in consideration it could be a animal, for example; a rat, squirt or any other small animal
