Edward sighed out of boredom, leaned against the wall of the school. He was on his phone, probably scrolling mindlessly as he waited for Zip. His arrowhead, imp-like tail swayed behind him casually as he glanced around for a moment before turning back down to his phone. Until Zip called out, running over to him, waving her hands with a grin on her face.

Zip: Yo, yo Eddy!

She stopped next to him, Edward pushing his phone back behind him. He was about to say something until he noticed Zip’s pair of dragon-like wings behind her. They matched her dragon tail, which was flailing around excitedly. She grinned, noticing the confused expression on her imp friend’s face.

Zip: I finally grew my wings, now I can fly! Check this out!

Without warning, Zip immediately grabbed Edward’s hands and took off. She started soaring, not that far from the ground, but enough to be concerning. He clung onto her hangs for dear life as he dangled below her. Zip was just giggling and having fun flying around.

Edward: Dude, at least tell me when you’re gonna pick me up like this! You could have dropped me!

He complained, obviously just scared of the fact Zip could easily lose his grip and drop him onto the floor. But she didn’t seem to care much, having too much fun flying around with her new, fully grown dragon wings.
