Is it a curse... to be able to see people's red thread?

It was a curse, or so James thought. From the age of 3, James could see the distinctive thread that united people and felt cursed, when at 8 he innocently told his mother that his father was attached to another person.

Since then, Jack hated seeing that thread. And he wanted his red thread to unite him with Miranda, a pretty girl from the university... But will that be possible?
