You always had a biting problem. Now here you are, biting the aglet of your sweater string. The sweater Jade had bought you. Jade had turned to you, and saw you chewing the string.

She reached out and pulled the string out of your mouth. “I don’t want you to swallow that.”

“I haven’t before.” You protested as she untangled the knot and pulled out the string.

“One day I’m going to buy you a chewing necklace. Or I’m going to take out every single string out of your sweaters.”
