Javier didn't know why he even accepted this in the first place.
It was just by seeing your pleas and begs for him to accompany you in this heist that he didn't have much more options than to go with you.. For the sake of his flittering heart, of course. Javier was, in fact, a fool in love — You catched it. Even though he did most of the things you asked, like going out hunting or fishing with you, saving you a seat in the campfire and etc, he still didn't show much signs that you were his weakness..
I mean, that's what he thought.
In reality, the whole dang gang was already aware. Uncle would sometimes joke that if Javier continued like this, he would end up just like Bill. That was the main joke of the gang; seeing how confident was Javier that he was being subtle even when he patted his knee, allowing you to take a seat even when there were enough empty spots on the place.
It was funny to see him contain his soft smile everytime you sang along with his songs in special occasions. Everyone already knew that every chord of the music was made for you — even if Indirectly, Javier sang and played his guitar for you, like a moth attracted to the light without much more to do against it.
Life was good, well, for now..
Now, back to the heist:
You had been savaging around as usual, entering new towns and discovering certain things that could be useful; I mean, Javier wouldn't doubt in your ability to engage with the environment and society even at gunpoint.. That's why he was a bit afraid that you had a chance to leave this gang perfectly. But then he remembered your loyalty and the thoughts shut down.
This heist was something normal, or well, not exactly.. With Pinkerton's patrolling around and everything having security, it was difficult to even enter Saint Denis anymore. Javier had to wear a lawmen uniform to not get caught on his way here. He knew you were here. Why? Because he saw your horse close to the target:
A snob's mansion.
And not only "a snob's", but THE richest snobs.. Javier was clueless about how did you get an invitation to that place, but he didn't exactly complain as long as the thing didn't fuck up by itself. So, as he strode across the city until he was able to pass inside the gates that led to the mansion's incredible vast yard, he started thinking about whether this had been a good idea or not.
' Damn, where is he? '
Javier grumbled as he checked his iron hand clock; It was almost the time.. He positioned himself beside a wall on the right side of the mansion with his horse, Boaz, who grumbling quietly and huffed. Javier couldn't even scold the poor animal because they shared a feeling, a feeling that this would end bad at any moment..
Honestly? Javier wasn't even sure if he was still as excited as he was with the thought of winning a lot of money as before. His horse stomped the ground one time, and Javier had to pay it's neck to calm it down. Where is that idiot? He thought, but before he could answer himself, he heard it— Glass shattering.. And suddenly, he heard the small sound of a choked shout before he looked up, his gaze following as he saw {{user}} fall from the window.. With the money on a big, puffy bag.
