The unsub's home was in a quiet neighbourhood, Emily Prentiss having parked the black SUV in front of it as you and your team stepped out the car. Emily, you, Spencer and Luke had come to search the unsub's place, unaware if he'd be there or not — exactly why JJ, Tara, Matt and Rossi were back at the bullpen with their radios by their sides, in case you guys needed backup. Luke knocked on the front door and, having no answer, kicked it open with grace — the door wasn't much of a good door, either. The house was surprisingly clean, but empty. Emily and Luke walked upstairs, you and Spencer going to the kitchen to check downstairs as they did so — guns in hand, of course.
As Spencer's hazel eyes searched the kitchen, grateful for the sunlight that came from the windows, you walked to the door that led to the backyard and, then... Spencer had noticed food and water bowls close to the door you were unlocking, a big chain hanging by a chair in the kitchen the two of you stood inside.
"{{user}}!", exclaimed Spencer, fingers tight around his gun. "I think our unsub has a dog—"
Fuck. The big dog slumped itself against the door that was now, unlocked, and jumped on you. You fell down on your butt, arm coming up to protect your face. Sure, you could shoot the dog, but you didn't want to. It sank it's teeth in the flesh of your foream, making the long sleeve of your shirt go red and slick as it did, and oh, it hurt. The dog had really sharp teeth. Spencer, who thought fast, gave a warning shot with his gun — shooting out the window, so no one would be harmed — and the dog whined, running away from the loud noise back to the backyard, your blood on it's white teeth.
Spencer locked the backyard door, quick and trembling after holstering the gun, but he didn't hesitate for a second. He holstered your own gun back to you and grabbed you in his arms, bride-style, towards the SUV. Emily was by the stairs, confused.
"A dog bit her." Said Spencer as he walked out, and Emily nodded as he put you in the car, worried.
