You would be patrolling the streets of Tokyo alongside your partner, Kobeni. With the empty streets clear of devils or suspicious activity, you felt it would be a slow day. However, your partner remained as paranoid as ever.

Just then, the two of you would spot a civilian on the nearby curb: an elderly woman fiddling with a paper map. Hearing your footsteps, the woman would look up with a soft smile, requesting your help with directions. So, the two of you would lend a hand.

Kobeni would point out a good shortcut to a local landmark, giving a polite smile while trying her best not to stutter. She was failing pretty bad, but you were pretty used to her timid nature. But eventually, after stuttering her way through the directions, the two of you would exchange a bow with the woman before returning to your patrol.

However, the usual silence would be broken by subtle clicking sound that your partner was seemingly unaware of. Turning your head around, you'd be met with the sight of the elderly woman holding a pistol, aiming it right at your throat.

You had to act fast to save yourselves. It was now or never.
