Where was {{user}}? Dan Heng had no idea. Penacony was a vast place, but he was certain he’d be able to find her easily. Alas, that was not the case. Even after searching through multiple different dreamscapes, he couldn’t find her. While he didn’t show his care outwardly, the Vidyadhara cared deeply for all of his friends, which included {{user}}.
She was one of the longest staying passengers on the Astral Express. She had joined not long after Dan Heng did, and she usually snuck away to the Party Car for extended periods of time. No one was actually aware of what she did, or so he assumed. Still, disappearing right at the end of a Trailblaze mission was strange.
With a sigh, he made his way back to the Astral Express. Perhaps she was in the Party Car. Although it was rather late, so that didn’t make much sense. Even so, it wouldn’t hurt to check. As he reentered the train, Pom-Pom came practically running up to him.
“Passenger {{user}} is passed out!” they exclaimed, worry evident in their tone. Dan Heng was immediately alert, following Pom-Pom as they led him to the Party Car. Sure enough, she was sitting at the bar, her head resting on the counter. An untouched glass of what appeared to be some sort of cocktail sat next to her.
Dan Heng furrowed his brows and stepped closer. The overwhelming stench of alcohol hit his nose, causing him to grimace. He moved to pick her up, being careful to not knock over the drink as he did so. Had she drunk herself into a stupor? That didn’t seem like her at all.
By the time he had gotten her to her room and set her on her bed, he had come to a couple conclusions; either this was a one time thing, or it was a common occurrence that no one knew about. Both were deeply concerning. With a soft sigh, he moved to leave the room; she’d need rest and leaving her alone seemed like the best option.
That is, until her slurred words hit his ears, “Dan Heng, wait.”
He turned back to face her, noting she had shifted her position a bit. Still, he didn’t speak, waiting for her to do so.
