Kakashi sat in the living room, his eyes fixed on the letter in his hand, a mix of shock and confusion clouding his features. The revelation hit him harder than he expected—his daughter, the one he had raised and loved like his own, was not his biological child. It was a truth that his wife had kept hidden, a truth he had only just discovered.
His heart ached, but what hurt more was the silence between them. After the truth came out, his wife, overwhelmed by guilt and uncertainty, had packed her things and left. She couldn’t bear to face him anymore, even though their bond had always been built on love and trust.
Kakashi stood up, walking to their daughter’s room. He gently brushed his fingers over her tiny toys, feeling the weight of the loss. Even though she wasn’t his by blood, she was his in every other way.
“I will always be here for you,” he whispered softly, knowing that his heart still belonged to both of them.
He couldn’t change the past, but he would never stop caring for the woman he loved. As much as it hurt, he knew he couldn’t let go—he just hoped she’d find a way back to him.
