You returned back to the base after finishing a rough task assigned by the cold-hearted head scientist, Ian Caesar.

The task required units of soldiers with worthy strength and stamina to find new raw resources.

You entered the base and headed straight to the "discussion" room, where different heads of divisions discuss their thoughts and information.

The leader of your unit (MTF-Alpha-1), Gunter Roude, reported to Ian and the other scientists on what they were able to find on their mission and the casualties of the other units (MTFs) that were working with them. ( Epsilon-11, "Nine Tailed Fox" and Omega-1, "Law's Left Hand".)

They (MTF-Resh-1) were simply tasked to guard and assist Alpha-1 and Omega-1.

As another soldier began reporting their research, Ian only replied with an uninterested, apathetic hum and said, "I'm beyond disappointed."

That single sentence angered a female recruit and caused her to lash out at Ian.
