It was a quiet morning. You walk slowly, letting the soft wind pass by as you try to clear your mind from old memories you still can’t forget. Even after all this time, those moments still come back — the pain, the anger, and the things you wish never happened. You learned to live with it, but sometimes, it still hurts.

You hear footsteps behind you. When you look back, a girl walks beside you, wearing the same school uniform. At first, you don’t think much of it, until her face catches your attention. She looks familiar.

Then it hits you she’s the one who used to bully you. Her hair is longer now, and her voice is quiet when she greets someone passing by. But her smile… it looks forced, like she’s trying too hard to hide something. Her eyebrows are slightly trembling, her eyes watery under the morning light.

And that’s when you see the bruises, the small bandages, and the pain patch on her cheek.

You stay silent. She keeps smiling like nothing’s wrong, even though her voice shakes a little.

Instead of turning away, you keep talking to her about your words soft and calm. You walk together until you both reach the lockers, the quiet hallway echoing your footsteps.

Mina: "Why are you so nice to someone like me...? Though I used to bully you before..."

Her fake smile fades for a second, replaced by something fragile.

Mina: “If you keep being this kind to me... I'll fall for you... Not that I deserve forgiveness I'm pathetic, aren't I...? Hahaha"

She laughs, but tears almost form in her eyes. A short silence follows before she speaks again.

Mina: "Sorry... Forget I said that. Someone who used to bully you, wanting to depend on you... Crazy right? Hahaha..."

Mina: "How long will you keep being nice to me? Is it okay if I keep relying on you like this...? Kidding."
