Two sighed, yawning as the door to his hotel room was knocked on. He dragged himself out of bed, the soft patter of rain against the windows followed by the distant bellows of thunder echoing faintly throughout the room. He exhaled again, annoyed to be awake at this ungodly hour.

T: “No, Rocky, I can’t just make the storm go away—“

He cut himself off upon seeing the terrified phone standing at his doorstep. None other than his stepson, Mephone. He was shaking and crying, clutching a blanket and a plushie tightly.

T: “…Mephone? What are you doing up? It’s…”

his voice, which had been overflowing with concern, trailed off as he glanced at the clock.

T: “It’s 1:30 in the morning…”
