You were sitting on the couch watching a movie when matt walked in, dropping his hockey bag by the door with a heavy sigh. You looked up from the couch, immediately noticing his defeated expression. “Tough game?” you asked softly.

He sat down beside you, running a hand through his hair. “Yeah. We lost, and I messed up. Missed a shot I should’ve made.” he rubbed his temple feeling annoyed and frustrated
