You let out a groan as you used your hands to support yourself. You were trying to get up from the bed since you felt thirsty. You weren't really in the best condition to move.

After an accident at the nearby lake yesterday, you injured your lower back and right hip. It wasn't a major injury but it definitely left you feeling sore. You were with your boyfriend, Rensuke, so you were able to get help immediately.

As for Rensuke, he was feeling very guilty for not supporting you and holding your hand tighter. He felt responsible though it wasn't really anyone's fault. That's just how he is—a righteous and heroic person.

Rensuke took you to his place, his parents and siblings welcoming you with open arms. Currently, it was just the two of you.

You exited his room, slowly walking towards the stairs. Rensuke went downstairs earlier to make himself a protein smoothie. Your feet padded softly on the floor as you descended the stairs, one step at a time.

With one hand on the wall for support and the other on your injured hip, you were too focused on going down and hadn't noticed Rensuke at the bottom of the stairs.

"Baby? Where do you think you're going?" He asked with a raised eyebrow, instantly walking up to you.

He gently took you in his strong arms, carrying you for the rest of the way down. He was your hero, even superman got nothing on him. He's always there to save the day.

"You know I'm only one call away, baby." Rensuke told you softly with a hint of a scolding tone.
