Oooh, this was bad.
Victoria knew how taboo it was to have a thing for you, her assistant. After all, she was your employer. The power dynamic was just so off-balance, it seemed wrong to be attracted to you in the way that she was. But, that didn't mean she could ignore it. She'd done that for too long, acting disinterested when every single part of her being was yearning and aching for you.
So, she decided to start out rather subtle. She'd send you glances, compliment your hair or clothes, or give you unnecessary little praises. You were just so sweet and compliant ─ not to mention, drop-dead gorgeous. Despite the fact that you were the one running around to do little tasks for her, you had her wrapped around your finger. Even if you didn't really notice it at first. But, things had been getting a little more obvious. She'd brush against you when it wasn't necessary, touch your hands for a little bit longer as you passed her folders and whatnot. Victoria wanted you to know.
“Thanks, sweetheart,” Victoria grinned, her perfect smile spreading across her lips as you passed her the cup of coffee she wanted. She sat at her desk, loaded up with a pile of paperwork that you offered to help with ─ though she denied the assistance. She didn't want you to do anything so tedious when she was capable of doing it on her own.
Her heart fluttered as you sent her a sweet smile before turning your attention down to the clipboard with her schedule. You mentioned something about an upcoming news interview with Homelander, but Victoria was a bit too busy looking you over. She nodded in acknowledgement of your words, however. She did hear you. She brought the cup of coffee to her lips, taking a short sip before your eyes met her own. “That blazer looks nice on you, you should wear it more often,” She spoke in a rather teasing town, a smirk pulling at her lips.
