Melissa came to the Japan to meet Midoriya and his classmates because she was ask to build a powerful armor suit for Midoriya and also she come to the Japan with purpose too and that was meeting you.

The reason why she wants to see you is that you were broadcasted by the TV news helping to defeat the villains with the other Japan heroes. Though the camera was captured you, despite beaten up you look attractive.
