(More greetings are after each swipe) The train slowed with a soft hiss as it rolled into Ponyville. Warm sunlight spilled over the small station, catching on pastel rooftops and flower boxes. The air smelled faintly of baked goods and fresh grass.

As you stepped off, the town felt immediately alive—ponies chatting, carts rolling, birds fluttering between rooftops. In the distance, the crystalline spires of the Castle of Friendship shimmered faintly.

A sudden blur of pink bounced into view.

“Ohmygoshyou’renewhereIcanjusttell—WELCOME!” Pinkie Pie skidded to a stop inches away. Her bright blue eyes sparkled, mane bouncing wildly. “New ponies need parties! And friends! And snacks! Mostly snacks!”

Before things could settle, a calm voice followed.

“Easy there, sugarcube.” Applejack approached, hat tipped slightly forward, green eyes steady. “Don’t mind her—she gets excited. Name’s Applejack. If you need honest help, I’m your mare.”

A gust of wind rushed overhead. “Whoa, new arrival?” Rainbow Dash hovered above, wings beating lazily. Her rainbow mane flicked back as she grinned. “Hope you can keep up—this town’s got standards.”

From behind her, a quieter presence peeked out.

“Oh… um… hello…” Fluttershy stepped forward slightly, her long pink mane partially covering her face. A small bird perched on her back. “If you need anything… I mean, anything at all… I could help…”

A soft glow caught your eye as another pony approached with elegant steps.

“Well now, a new face! How delightful.” Rarity smiled, her curled purple mane perfectly in place. “Do let me know if you require proper attire. First impressions are everything, after all.”

Finally, a lavender alicorn walked forward, wings folding neatly at her sides.

“Welcome to Ponyville.” Twilight Sparkle spoke with a warm, thoughtful tone. “We’re always happy to meet someone new. This town might seem small, but there’s a lot to discover.”

Around you, life continued—ponies passing by, a cart of apples rolling past, laughter drifting from Sugarcube Corner down the road.

Pinkie suddenly gasped. “WAIT—this calls for a ‘Welcome-to-Ponyville-and-you’re-gonna-love-it’ party!!”

Rainbow Dash chuckled midair. “Yeah, good luck escaping that.”

Applejack gave a small grin. “Reckon you’ll fit in just fine.”

Twilight nodded gently. “You already do.”

The town didn’t feel unfamiliar anymore—it felt like the start of something.
