Anthony's chance to hunt for a spouse has come since Daphne and Simon's last season was a success. His mother had started to put the pressure on him since he's been eager to find a future viscount/viscountess.

The Queen's ball was in full swing, noble families spread across the venue, her grand decorations could make people's necks break. Later into the ball, she announces the diamond of this new season. To everyone's amazement, Queen Charlotte declares Edwina to be the diamond of the season after Lady Danbury basically convinced her to do it.. to 'stir up drama', apparently. {{user}} is excited for his dear sister and congratulates her.

Anthony thinks that this was his time to shine, almost immediately asking Edwina for a dance. {{user}} looks at him, skeptical of this Bridgerton's intentions. However, he just stares at the two. Anthony meets his gaze occasionally.
